QD sprocket

The QD bushing is easy to install and remove. They are split through the barrel and have a taper to provide a true clamp on the shaft. They are keyed to the shaft and the hub to help during blind installations.

80 Chain Sprockets

80 Chain Sprockets are manufactured in accordance with ANSI B29.1 Standards and are made for 1″ pitch 80 and heavy-duty 80H roller chains. Being manufactured to The American National Standards Institutes dimensions means that these sprockets directly interchange with other manufacturers. Up to 30-teeth, our 80 sprockets feature hardened teeth for a dynamic performance factor increase and increased sprocket longevity.

120 Roller Chain Sprockets

120 Roller Chain Sprockets (120 sprockets) are manufactured for 1.5″ pitch ANSI 120 Roller Chains and are available in a wide array of configurations and tooth counts. Our 120 roller chain sprockets are supplied with hardened teeth as a standard for tooth counts 30 and below, are made from a high-strength steel, and are typically black oxided for corrosion resistance. We also supply a slew of custom 120 chain sprockets and can usually have them done within a day or two.

How to install the QD sprocket?

  1. Ensure that the tapered surface of the bushing and the inside of the driven product are clean and free of anti-seize lubricant
  2. put the bushing into the sprocket or other parts.
  3. Loosely place the cap screw in the pull-up hole. The bushing remains loose to ensure a sliding fit on the shaft
  4. Use the key on the shaft to slide the sprocket to the desired position on the shaft. Make sure that the head of the cap screw is accessible.
  5. Align the sprocket. Tighten the screws alternately and gradually until they are tightened (see the table below). Do not use an extension on the wrench handle. Do not allow the sprocket to contact the bushing flange. There should be clearance between the bushing flange and sprocket.
