Worm gearboxes’ basic structure is mainly composed of transmission parts, worm gear worm, shaft, bearing, box, and its accessories. It can be divided into three essential structures: box, worm gear, bearing, and shaft combination. The box body is the base of all accessories in the worm gear reducer, which is an essential accessory for supporting and fixing shafting components, ensuring the correct relative position of transmission accessories, and supporting the load on the reducer. The worm gear and shaft’s primary function is to transfer motion and power between two staggered shafts, while the primary function of the bearing and shaft is to transfer power, operate and improve efficiency.

Cast 400 class pintle chains are of one-piece cast offset link construction joined together by steel pins. The pins are securely locked against turning in the sidebars by generous head stops that are cast on the links. The head stops are positioned to provide a maximum locking effect when the chain is under load. This confines the wear to the part of the pin inside the barrel of the link, where it is distributed over the maximum area. This ensures the best durability of the chain.
