2B Gripbelt Sheaves with Split Taper Bushings for Use with All “A” and “B” Section Belts
2B series pulleys are manufactured for A, AX, AA, 4L, B, BX, BB, and 5L v-belts, ranging from 5.75″ to 38.35″ in diameter. Depending on the pulley size, they are made to use with R1 taper bushings or Q1 taper bushings, which we also stock. Most of our double 2B split taper bushed pulleys are manufactured from a high-strength grade 35 cast iron, are phosphate-coated, and are painted for anti-corrosion. All of them are balanced at the factory for smooth machinery operation.

Features of 2B Series Pulleys
- All sheaves are statically balancing to assure smooth, vibration-free performance.
- Close-grain cast iron allows us to machine our sheaves to the tightest tolerances possible.
- The largest selection of H bushed sheaves of any other manufacturer offers bushed sheaves in both A and B combination (A/B) Configuration; 1, 2, and 3-grooves are available to meet any fractional horsepower requirement.
- Combination groove-all B series sheaves permit the running of A, 4L, B, and 5L belts to be run in them, thus providing various pitch diameters and horsepowers.
Types of V Belt Pulleys for Sale
There are many types of these V-belt pulleys for sale, and each type is manufactured to a standard. Depending on your needs, you can choose from three to twelve-inch models. When you purchase a v-belt pulley, you can choose from single or dual groove designs.
V-belt pulleys generally come with one or two grooves. The first is called an “envelope” style because it has a fabric cover. This pulley type will be more resistant to oil and extreme temperatures and can act as a friction clutch during start-up. It will also be able to withstand high-powered applications, giving it a longer lifespan. The other type, a “raw edge,” does not have a cover and is more energy-efficient, allowing you to choose a smaller diameter pulley.
Double-sided v-belts are also available. Double-sided v-belts are used in applications that require reverse bend capability. You can get a double-sided one if you need extra-large V belt pulleys. The double-sided design is a popular choice for heavy-duty motors. The double-sided v belt provides a smooth surface and smaller footprint than the single-sided design.
