60 Steel Sprockets for Chain 863 / 963 / 1864 / 1873 / 1874 / 3873
A sprocket(60 Steel Sprockets) is a rotating mechanical wheel with teeth that engage with roller or conveyor chains to facilitate their movement in various applications and equipment. As the sprocket rotates around a central shaft, the specially designed teeth engage the gaps in the chain to pull it with a secure grip, regardless of whether it is in dirty or oily environments. Although they may resemble gears, sprockets are designed solely to work with drive chains, not other sprockets or gears.
We stock a full line of ANSI single-strand 304-grade stainless steel sprockets, both as A-Plate style and B-Hub style. We keep these on the shelf as standard stock bores. However, we can supply sprockets with finished bores thanks to our fast-reaction in-house industrial machine shop. Typically our sprockets are manufactured out of 304-grade stainless steel, but 316, as well as a few other grades, are available upon request.

Which is Better-Aluminum or Steel for Sprockets?
The two most commonly materials for sprocket :Steel and aluminum. Most manufacturers use steel sprockets; however, aluminum offers characteristics that some riders will find more appealing.
Steel sprockets are more affordable than aluminum and tend to have a longer lifespan. Because rear sprockets are smaller and more durable sprockets are essential, we use steel most to produce rear sprockets .
For riders who are looking for sprockets that can help increase their speed, aluminum is usually the go-to choice. Aluminum sprockets are much lighter than steel, making them an excellent choice for the motorcyclist who wants to reduce bike weight. Even though aluminum sprockets are anodized, they tend to degrade much faster than sprockets that are made out of steel.
