Anti-Sidebow Chains Features
One of the most important Anti-sidebow chain features is the ability of the chain to pivot. The chain can bow sideways if the chain is positioned in the appropriate position. To achieve this, the chain is made of two separate parts: the inner link plate and the outer chain links. The latter two parts are made of plastic materials. The pivot pin 7 and bolt 6 are made of steel. A groove on the inner link plate allows the centering projection to pivot further into this region.The chain links are interconnected by a hinge. The hinge is designed to pivot about first and second axes. The hinge is formed by a pivot bolt or pin connected to the outer chain links.
