How to Install a Planetary Gearbox on a Servo Motor?
- Step One: wipe off the anti-rusting additive and grease on the motor shaft.
- Step Two: Remove the rubber plug.
- Step Three: Rotate the input shaft to align the fastening bolt with the plug hole. Please make sure that the cap screw is loosened. If a shaft sleeve is attached, please install it according to the figure below.
- Step Four: Place the reducer vertically in a flat place so that the motor mounting face of the planetary gearbox is upward. Insert the motor shaft into the input shaft slowly to avoid hitting the input shaft. Please make sure that the flange of the motor is close to the flange of the servo gearbox. Tighten the motor mounting bolts based on the designated tightening torque.
- Step Five: Use a torque wrench to tighten the clamping bolt according to the designated fastening torque.
- Step Six: Install the rubber bolt. The whole installation procedure is finish.
