Installation and Precautions of Cycloidal Pin Gear Reducer
In the reducer family, cycloidal pin gear reducer is widely working in servo, stepping, DC and other transmission systems because of its small size, high transmission efficiency, wide deceleration range, and high accuracy. Its function is to reduce the speed, increase the torque and reduce the load/motor inertia ratio on the premise of ensuring the transmission accuracy. The correct installation, use and maintenance of the reducer is an important link to ensure the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when installing the cycloidal pin gear reducer. Before installation, confirm whether the motor and gearbox are in good condition, and strictly check whether the dimensions of all components connected with the motor and gearbox match. Here are the dimensions and fit tolerances of motor locating boss, input shaft and reducer slot.

Rotate the screw on the dust hole outside the deceleration triangle, adjust the clamping ring of the PCS system so that its side hole is aligned with the dust hole, and insert the tightness of the hexagonal socket. Then, remove the motor shaft key.

Connect the motor to the gearbox naturally. When connecting, it must be ensured that the output shaft of the reducer is the same as the input shaft of the motor, and the outer flange is parallel. If the concentricity is inconsistent, the motor shaft will be broken or the gear of the reducer will be worn.
In addition, during the installation process. Strictly prohibited to strike with a hammer to prevent excessive axial or radial force from damaging the bearing or gear. Be sure to tighten the mounting bolts before tightening them. Before installation, use gasoline or zinc sodium water to wipe the rust preventative oil at the motor input shaft, locating boss and reducer connection. Its purpose is to ensure the tightness of the connection and the flexibility of the operation, and to prevent unnecessary wear.
Before connecting the motor to the reducer, the motor shaft keyway should be perpendicular to the fastening bolt. To ensure uniform stress, first tighten the mounting bolts at any reverse position, but do not tighten them, and then tighten the other two mounting bolts at opposite positions one by one. Finally, rotate the tension bolt. All fastening bolts shall manually fixing and checking with torque plate according to the fixing torque data shown.
The correct installation between the reducer and the mechanical equipment is the same as that between the reducer and the drive motor.
