Double Pitch Conveyor Chains are an extension of the standard short-pitch conveyor chain. They have the same static strength and length, but the pitch is extended, reducing the weight of the entire chain. These chains are available in a variety of styles and types. The C2000 series is an example of a double-pitch chain. This model has large oversized rollers that project over the lower link plates, providing smooth rolling action while minimizing friction on the supporting surface.

Sprockets for Double Pitch Conveyor Chains
Sprockets for double pitch conveyor chains are standard issues in many manufacturing operations. Double pitch conveyor chains have a wider chain pitch and are used for applications that require precise positioning.
The sprockets for double pitch conveyor chains are made from flame-cut steel and are precision machined. They are available in two types: A Type and B Type. The B Type is less expensive and uses a single hub, while the C Type has two.
Double pitch roller chains are similar to single pitch chains, except that their link plates are wider than normal.
