WPWKV Series Universal Speed Worm Gearboxes
WPWKV Series Universal Speed Worm Gearboxes are composed of a pair of meshing worm gears, worms, etc., and are out in a rigid, sealed housing. It is commonly used as a deceleration transmission between the prime mover and the work machine. It is a separate component in the device.
WPWKV worm gear reducer is a cast iron with a strong hardness housing. It has the advantages of compact structure, stable transmission, slight vibration, small shock and low noise, sizeable reduction ratio, and wide versatility that can work in various mechanical equipmens. The housing form has primary type(input shaft in below, input shaft on upper, output shaft on the upper, output shaft is on below and universal type(housing is a rectangular parallelepiped, and multi-face is provided with fixing screws, with various structural forms such as without foot plate or additional foot plate).

Precautions for the Use of Worm Gear Reducer
1. Check carefully whether the reducer model, distance, ratio, input connecting method, output shaft structure, input and output shaft direction, and revolving direction accord with the required before using,
2. Please fill proper category and brand lubricant according to the requirement of selecting lubricant oil in the product manual. And then, screw on the vent plug, and unlock the small cone plug of the vent plug. Only after doing this reducer is it already starting up and running. Require an excellent brand and adequate lubricant oil ; replacing oil in time and conforming to the request of the product manual is also necessary, especially after using the first 100hours. Need to refill new oil.
3. When abnormal circumstances occur, please check and stop the reducer per solutions and reasons for faults of the reducer(allowable highest oil temperature is 95 under this temperature limit, if the oil temperature no more goes up, please let the reducer continue running).
Choice of Lubricant
Before operating the worm gear speed reducer, add N220 ~ N320（Ambient temperature-30°℃~40°℃）, N320~N460（Ambient temperature 40°C~65C）lubrication oil up to the center line of the oil gauge. In the meanwhile, remove the small screw of the air vent. After having worked for 100 hours for the first time, you must clear the inside and change the lubrication oil in it, hre after once every 2500 hours.
