WPWT Series Universal Speed Worm Gearboxes
Worm gearboxes(WPWT Series Universal Speed Worm Gearboxes) are widely used due to their durability, large transmission ratio, small size, strong self-locking ability, simple structure, and easy manufacturing, but their relatively low transmission efficiency. To add a breather cover to the worm gear reducer, the temperature of the reducer will change with the working time. The higher the temperature, the air in the reducer case will expand, thereby leaking the lubricating oil from the split surface, so a vent cover is provided on the reducer case cover. An oil drain hole is provided under the reducer case seat to facilitate the later replacement of lubricating oil.

Inspection Work Before Using Worm Gear Reducer
- Check the weight, type, power, speed ratio, and shaft direction of the worm gear reducer.
- Check the oil injection inside the worm gear reducer to ensure that the oil quantity is more than half a meter.
- The installation site needs well-ventilated, and the temperature is within the environment of 0-40 degrees Celsius.
- When using couplings for connection, ensure that the two shafts are equal and aligned, and fix the mounting feet of the worm gear reducer.

Choice of Lubricant
Before operating the worm gear speed reducer, add N220 ~ N320（Ambient temperature-30°℃~40°℃）, N320~N460（Ambient temperature 40°C~65C）lubrication oil up to the center line of the oil gauge. In the meanwhile, remove the small screw of the air vent. After having worked for 100 hours for the first time, you must clear the inside and change the lubrication oil in it, hre after once every 2500 hours.
